1. Product Classification And Features

This product is often divided into three categories according to different safety performance requirements: one is “general purpose steel wire core conveyor belt” (hereinafter referred to as ordinary belt); the second is “general purpose steel wire core flame retardant conveyor belt” (hereinafter referred to as flame retardant belt), and the third is “coal mine steel wire core flame retardant conveyor belt” (hereinafter referred to as flame retardant belt). Flame retardant and flame retardant belts are ordinary belts with different safety performance requirements added.

The characteristics of this product are uniform tension of the steel wire rope, high tensile strength, small elongation in use, good flex resistance, good troughing, high conveying efficiency and strong climbing ability.

The skeleton force body is the steel wire rope, and the middle rubber vulcanizes and bonds the steel wire rope and the upper and lower covering rubber together. Because the steel wire rope has uniform tension, high strength and flex resistance, the belt has good troughing, high conveying efficiency and strong climbing ability. This belt is suitable for conveying materials in high-intensity, long-distance and large-volume occasions.

2. Main Uses And Scope Of Application

This product is widely used in mining, coal, metallurgy, chemical industry, construction, shipping and railways. It has high working efficiency, safe operation, simple use, easy maintenance, saving manpower and power, no pollution, can increase climbing ability, shorten the conveying distance, reduce engineering cost, etc. It is suitable for conveying materials in high-strength, large-span, long-distance and large-volume occasions.

Ordinary belts are mainly used to convey materials in general non-underground occasions; flame-retardant belts are usually used to convey coal and other materials with flame-retardant requirements in non-mines, and have certain flame-retardant and anti-static properties; flame-retardant belts are used to convey flammable materials such as coal in coal mines, and have good flame-retardant and anti-static properties.

3. Product Implementation Standards

The structure, performance and size series of this product comply with the following standards. Products can also be designed and manufactured according to relevant requirements according to customer needs.

(1) Ordinary belts comply with the National Standard of the People’s Republic of China GB/T 9770-2013 “General Purpose Steel Wire Cord Conveyor Belt”;

(2) Flame-retardant belts comply with the Chemical Industry Standard of the People’s Republic of China HG/T 3973-2007 “General Purpose Steel Wire Cord Flame Retardant Conveyor Belt”;

(3) Flame-retardant belts comply with the Coal Industry Standard of the People’s Republic of China MT/T 668-2019 “Steel Wire Cord Flame Retardant Conveyor Belt for Coal Mines”.

Structural Features

This conveyor belt consists of four parts: steel wire rope, core rubber, upper and lower covering rubber and edge rubber. The steel wire ropes are arranged in parallel and evenly; there is a core rubber filling layer with excellent bonding performance with the steel wire rope to form the belt core; the upper and lower parts are covered with a rubber layer that is wear-resistant, impact-resistant, or has flame-retardant and antistatic properties; the edges are protected by edge rubber that meets various performance requirements to prevent edge grinding and collision of the conveyor belt. All parts are organically combined to form the whole belt.
